Having clean kitchen appliances displayed on your shelf is one of the best ways to make the room beautiful and elegant. You may be considering a complete kitchen renovation to transform your kitchen. However, if you’ve got dirty appliances, your kitchen renovation will still be useless. Luckily, cleaning your kitchen appliances is not that hard.

Today, we are going to share with you some of the tips and tricks in cleaning some of the dirtiest appliances that you find in your kitchen.

Toaster or Toaster Oven

When it comes to your toaster, to get rid of any food crumbs, you should shake it over the slab. After getting rid of food crumbs, you can wash its exterior part, thoroughly dry it, and you are finished.

For your toaster oven, the first thing you should do is remove the racks and place them in water filled with soap for a couple of minutes. To clean the interior part of your toaster oven, use a wet cloth and dip it in soapy water. To get rid of burnt food particles, use a wet pastry brush and clean the narrow slots.

In addition to that, you can take out the knobs of your toaster oven and clean them.

Food Processor, Blender, and Stand Mixer

Food processor, blender, and stand mixer are the simplest appliances to clean. The reason for this is that they have their own mechanism to clean itself. All you’ve got to do is just place a cup of clean water in the jug and add several drops of dishwashing liquid. Then, you can turn on the stand mixer, food processor, or blender for several minutes. You can do this after every use.

You can also remove the blades and clean them using hot water.

Dishwasher

While this appliance is utilized to clean dishes, it does not mean that it is always clean. To clean your dishwasher, place white vinegar in a safe cup and place it at the top rack. Make sure that your dishwasher is empty. Activate your dishwasher and set it at the longest cycle at high temperature. With this, you will able to loosen up food scum and soap.

Fridge

One of the dirtiest appliances in your kitchen is your fridge. To clean it, the first thing you’ve got to do is to make sure it is unplugged. Since your fridge is most likely placed against a wall, you have to pull it out. To clean the coils underneath and behind the refrigerator, you can utilize a vacuum.

Then, to clean both outsides and insides of your fridge, you can combine one cup of vinegar and one cup of plain water. Remove all the trays and clean them using soapy water and dampened cloth.

Cleaning your kitchen appliances will beautify your kitchen and increase the lifespan of your appliances. However, it will definitely take a lot of time. If you are a busy individual, you can just hire a maid service Elgin to do the job for you.
